Tony was in his car at a stop sign off Broadway the night of September 28th when he was struck by another driver. The other driver got out, looked at Tony, got back in his car, and took off. Tony was rushed to the ER in an ambulance, where they found that the impact had collapsed his lung. After hours of pain, they did an emergency procedure to reinflate his lung and install a drainage tube. Over the next few days, Doctors were unable to get Tony's lung to stay inflated. Due to blood trapped in Tony's damaged lung, he has developed a staph infection in his blood stream. Tony is currently stabilizing in the ICU. After Tony's eventual release from the hospital, he will be unable to work while he finishes healing, and this terrible stroke of luck has left him with no vehicle, medical bills, and an inability to cover his day to day costs of living. In order to help Tony breathe a bit easier, his friends and coworkers have come together to organize a benefit show in his honor. Dozens of items have been donated to be raffled and auctioned off with all proceeds going to benefit Tony.
